Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
Christmas is coming soon! It is my most favorite time of the year, and even though I'm not a small kid anymore, I still very excited when it comes to Christmas. The day when I gather around with my family, have dinner together, put on a Christmas tree and just do some caroling. Anyway, have yourself a merry little Christmas! May the Christmas spirit always be with you forever. Merry Christmas folks!

Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Let your heart be light
From now on your troubles will be out of sight, yeah
Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Make the Yuletide gay
From now on your troubles will be miles away, oh
Here we are as in olden days
Happy golden days of yore, ah
Faithful friends who are dear to us
They gather near to us once more, ooh
Through the years we all will be together and
If the fates allow
Hang a shining star upon the highest bow, oh yeah, oh
And have yourself a merry little Christmas now, oh, oh
Faithful friends who are dear to us
They gather near to us once more, oh, oh
Through the years we all will be together and
If the fates allow, oh yeah
But 'til then we'll have to muddle through somehow, oh yeah, oh, oh

December :)
Hey! Sorry for long updates :(
Not that I don't have time to update my blog, but I have no internet connection for last few weeks. I only have internet connection on my mobile, but I don't really enjoy writing post through mobile. Anyway, let me recap some of last activities recently.
NOVEMBER 26 - DECEMBER 10: FINAL TEST
So, I had my final test on those days. It should have ended on December 5th, but because of "some problems", there were additional math and biology retest so we, 10th grader finished our test last. To be honest, it was the longest days of final exams that I have! I didn't know how could I get through those "hell days" but I just passed it through! Thanks God :D My sleeping schedule was really absurd, but I tried my best not to study all night because I knew it would ruin my concentration. I hoped that I pass all the test because some of them were extremely difficult!
DECEMBER 7: KO BOBBY AND CI SARAH'S WEDDING
I know this date was still in the middle of my final test, but thankfully it took place on Friday, so I didn't have to study anything for tomorrow. On that day, my older cousin, Bobby, finally married to his beautiful girlfriend and I couldn't been more happier. They were perfect for each other and there were so much love between the two of them. The wedding's concept was a "garden wedding" and it somehow reminded me of Bella and Edward's wedding (I'm talking about The Twilight Saga XD). Instead of renting the hotel's garden, they held the reception in a rented beautiful villa. There was a big swimming pool opposite the music stage (not to mention, they even recruited a violinist!) and when the reception started, the two of them appeared on the balcony (now it reminded me of Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding!). The food was absolutely delicious. Marzano Pizza, Indian kebab, sushi, beef fettuccine, and don't forget the delicious dessert! I'm sorry I can't share the photos now, but I probably upload some of them soon. Don't worry~
DECEMBER 14: CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
Our school had a christmas service and celebration on Friday. Therefore, we should wear a shirt according to the dress code which is red, green, or yellow. The Christmas service was not so fancy, reminding us that Jesus didn't born in fanciness, but in a very simple and poor situation. The God's message through the pastor was awesome, reminding us not to just rely on our logic, but also our heart and God's words. Somehow, this message really suitable for me. I often just rely on my logic, thinking something is impossible to do But I forget, nothing is impossible for God. And since then, I want to learn to rely on God, and not only my logic or my own strength :)
DECEMBER 15: REPORT CARD (!!!!) AND A VISIT TO THE ORPHANAGE
I received report card today! And I was totally nervous. I knew some of my grades were going down and I couldn't help it anymore. I've tried my best, and I just hoped that the result was also the best for me. When I walked with my mom on the school corridor, heading to my class that was located at the end of the corridor, I was holding my mom's hand so tightly because I was so freakin nervous (I know it was kinda childish, but..who cares?) My mom got into the classroom and I sat on a chair outside, waiting for my destiny (LOL!) One by one, my friends' parents came out of the classroom with different expression and then, I took a peek, my mom was sitting in front of my teacher, ready to receive the result. 'so this is it!' I whispered to myself. About 5 minutes after that, my mom came out with a big smile on her face. Oh, thanks GOD!!! I looked at my report card, I never thought it would be this good. I thought that I didn't do really well on this 1st term. Well, my math's score was still, not really satisfying, but I'll work harder in the next semester. I promise it will be better! After the report distribution was over, all of us, 10th graders, went to the different orphanages. My class, X5, together with X6 went to one orphanage located in Muara Karang. The orphanage was located by the seaside, and when the tide is high, or when it is raining, the water will be flooding and go into their house. There were a lot of children, around 30 I think. We played games together, sang a song, and had lunch together. Sometimes, seeing people laugh can also bring a smile to our face. Happiness is that simple :D
So, that were some of my activities during the last 2 weeks (I think?) I haven't got any plan for holiday so I guess, I will playing Sims, checking on some cool videos on YouTube, yeah something like that. Anyway, enjoy your holiday folks! Have a good one :D

Priska's bday party
Hello folks! Long time no see :(
I'm sorry, I've been so busy at my school for the last few months and now I'm currently preparing for my final exams. So many interesting things happened, for example: The Character Camp. Last week, I was writing a blog post about that camp but suddenly there was a blackout and I didn't have a chance to save it! so, maybe I'll write about it next time ;)
And then, school life...nothing special, except I've got some new friends that are very awesome! My school grade? Going down and not as good as my junior high's score. People said it's normal because my school's one of the best in Jakarta and the standards are pretty high, so by passing the passing grade already made me very glad!
2 weeks ago, our homeroom teacher celebrated her birthday so our class, X5, made a surprise for her. We pretended to act so badly when she came, even 2 of my friends acted as they were fighting! At the end, someone brought the cake and we sang 'Happy Birthday!' Too bad my friend hasn't uploaded the photos so I can't share them :(
On the same day, my dear friend, Priska also celebrated her birthday. We gave her a book with 131 autographs and wishes for her, collected from students and teacher of smak 1. A real challenge to collect that huge amount of autographs! And on Saturday, we celebrated her birthday at Itasuki, Central Park
Check it out :)

High school life :)
Hey! Sorry for long update, blame my high school for giving such lots of tasks and exams in the first two weeks! Well, such a tiring week with physics test, biology test, and the horrifying math test. Out of those three, I think I only get a good score in biology, lol!
Anyway, let's talk about more interesting stuff which is..my new class! I am the member of X5 family and I love my class! I can call it "somewhat-random" class but if I can move to another class, I won't do it! This is my class, my friends, my family for one year. Let's make it memorable!

Welcome highschool :D
Hey guys! sorry for long update, been really busy recently :(
Soo.. from july 23rd, I was officially a high-schooler. my high school is SMAK 1 Penabur which is one of the top schools in Jakarta. Am I happy? of course I am! It was not easy to enter that school, but somehow, I managed to be accepted! I met a lot of friends from different middle schools and even from outside Jakarta.
Of course I'm really happy to have lots of friends, but also nervous, because some of them, maybe much better and smarter than me. Challenge accepted! I'll do my best and let God do the rest.
High school life? Really fun. A lot of fun afterschool clubs to join (and I haven't choose yet!), our school's annual event, SMAK 1 CUP is also worth to wait. My class X5 is also a really fun class, with unique students which are really awesome. I hope we can have a great year ahead :D
High school daily activity? Plain stressful. Lots of task and homework to do. Thick books >.< and lots lots of subjects to learn! Pretty high standard so I'm really nervous, will I survive high school? But I have to! God will support me and I believe that.
"Home is where the heart is" An old quotes but really true. Everytime I returned to my former middle school (for administration purpose), that was when I feel mostly at "home". The atmosphere is really different and if I can turn the time back, I've always wanted to return to my home. Well, perhaps because I wasn't adapted to my high school yet. Hope I will, soon!!

Payphone
A song by from Maroon 5 and Wiz Khalifa. My personal favorite, enjoy :)
I'm at a payphone trying to call home
All of my change I spent on you
Where have the times gone, baby it's all wrong
Where are the plans we made for two?
Yeah, I, I know it's hard to remember,
The people we used to be...
It's even harder to picture,
That you're not here next to me.
You say it's too late to make it,
But is it too late to try?
And in our time that you wasted
All of our bridges burned down
I've wasted my nights,
You turned out the lights
Now I'm paralyzed,
Still stuck in that time,
When we called it love,
But even the sun sets in paradise
I'm at a payphone trying to call home
All of my change I spent on you
Where have the times gone, baby it's all wrong
Where are the plans we made for two?
If "Happy Ever After" did exist,
I would still be holding you like this
All those fairy tales are full of shit
One more fucking love song, I'll be sick.
Oh, you turned your back on tomorrow
'Cause you forgot yesterday.
I gave you my love to borrow,
But you just gave it away.
You can't expect me to be fine,
I don't expect you to care
I know I've said it before,
But all of our bridges burned down
I've wasted my nights,
You turned out the lights
Now I'm paralyzed,
Still stuck in that time,
When we called it love,
But even the sun sets in paradise
I'm at a payphone trying to call home
All of my change I spent on you
Where have the times gone, baby it's all wrong
Where are the plans we made for two?

All those fairy tales are full of shit
One more fucking love song, I'll be sick.
[Wiz Khalifa:]
Man, fuck that shit
I'll be out spending all this money
While you're sitting round wondering
Why it wasn't you who came up from nothing,
Made it from the bottom
Now when you see me I'm stunning,
And all of my cars start with a push of a button
Telling me the chances I blew up
Or whatever you call it,
Switch the number to my phone
So you never could call it,
Don't need my name on my shirt,
You can tell it I'm ballin.
Swish, what a shame could have got picked
Had a really good game but you missed your last shot
So you talk about who you see at the top
Or what you could have saw but sad to say it's over for.
Phantom pulled up valet open doors
Wiz like go away, got what you was looking for
Now it's me who they want, so you can go and take
that little piece of shit with you.
Now I'm at a payphone...
It's complicated
Hey bloggers! Long time no post, I'm sorry >.<
Hell yeah, I'm still alive, don't worry ;)
Just for your information, I'll definitely become a high-schooler next week and of course, I'm so nervous! New school, new friends, new teachers, need some time to get used to it. I've said farewell to some friends and one of my best friends, and that makes me really sad. Of course, we'll meet again, hopefully!
The rest of my story this holiday is bo-ring. I didn't travel abroad this summer. The first plan was to go to Singapore, but my parents canceled it and planned to travel abroad on new year instead.
My "other" story? Ooh..it's full of drama all the way. Yesterday we still talked to each other, the very next day we ignored each other. I just want to really end this never-ending drama, but somehow it's pretty hard for me to deal with it alone.
On the other side, when I almost stop waiting for that "someone" and ready to move on, that person, once again, comes back and tapping me on my shoulders. I really really don't want to look back, again. But I don't know why it's so hard to do. In other word, I'm so confused. It's just like, he forgot me for the entire 3 years but when I'm ready to forget him, he just showed up from nowhere.
Oh well, that's life and of course, love. So complicated, full of drama, full of choices, and takes a lot of courage. You know what? I hope I can be a little girl again and my biggest problem is to choose which clothes to wear. But life keeps going on, and it's pretty complicated :)

A Summer to Remember - Jogja, Bali :)
Wanna know my story, let's check it out :)
DAY 1: JAKARTA - YOGYAKARTA
Kumpul di sekolah sekitar jam 04.30, masih gelap banget! Rasanya udah kyk berangkat malem2 aja. Wkwkwkwk..
Siwon -.-
Okay, Siwon cakep dan bodinya juga bagus, tapi...(please don't hate me), he's just the face of the group. Why don't we appreciate the less popular but more talented, such as Ryeowook? Or maybe Eunhyuk? (okay, now all of you hate me!) Tapi overall konsernya keren sih, walaupun kebanyakan lagunya lip-sync (please don't hate me! It's the truth!)
Bayangin tuh, 7 orang!! Setelah mandi dan beres2 buat besok, kita akhirnya tidur..
DAY 2 - RAFTING - MALIOBORO
Pagi2 bangun terus breakfast deh. Lanjut perjalanan ke S.Ello buat rafting. Sampe di sana udah lumayan siang, sekitar jam 10.30 jadinya udah lumayan panas. Sebenernya kalo rafting tuh enak pagi,, biar gak panas, tapi apa daya?
Yeay! Abis istirahat bentar dan minum air kelapa, kita lanjut lagi. Tapi berhubung kita start kedua agak telat, kita jadi ketinggalan sama tim2 lainnya.
Setelah berjuang (eaa) dan bersusah payah, akhirnya kita finish ketiga. Not bad laah.

DAY 3 - EAST JAVA - LOVINA
Walaupun aku bukan tipe orang yg mabuk perjalanan, tpi ttep aja gelombangnya terasa banget. Ya akhirnya kita disana ngobrol-ngobrol aja biar gak terlalu berasa gelombangnya.
(Well, mati atau hidup tetep kecoa kan??)
Ditelepon, ga diangkat2, sampe Charisa ping bbnya Albert cuma gara2 tuh kecoa.
And another crazy day had passed...
DAY 4: LOVINA - TANAH LOT - DENPASAR
Kalau pagi sih ga serem, bagus malah. Hotelnya udah kayak punya mini zoo. Ada iguana, kangguru, ular, buaya, burung merak, lucu2 deh pokoknya!
Nah, sekitar jam 10 pagi kita check-out dari hotel.
Check them out, one picture worth a thousand words :)

Tanah Lot :D |
Look at our reflection! |
Tadinya mau bikin siluet pas sunset, tapi jadinya kayak gini T.T |
Sekitar jam 11 malem, baru deh kita tidur...
DAY 5: TANJUNG BENOA
DAY 6: NUSA PENIDA
Yummy!
Setelah makan siang, kita mulai water sportnya.

DAY 7 : DENPASAR - JAKARTA
Sunset di Kuta |
Photo of the day!! |
Gak terasa udah 7 hari kita di Bali.. Last day!

Look at our shadows! |
With Mam Naomi :) |
Oh well..
And that's our last trip together. I will always cherish this moment, I'll remember it, and I'll miss it. I'll miss my fellow "bus-mates", I'll miss my best friends, I'll miss all the teachers, and of course, I'll miss Bali..

Yearbook Photo-shoot :)
Yesterday, my class 9D and also 9C had a yearbook photo-shoot. 9C got a morning session at PIK while we got an afternoon session at Benton Junction. Our theme is "Story of Us" so our photos will represent our unique and unforgettable stories while we were together for 3 years.
The original plan was to assemble at school at 1.30 pm, but for some reason, some of us departed earlier at 1 pm. I was at home when my friend texted me hurry up and come to school. God, it was just 1.15 pm!
After the rest of us have arrived, we went to that location. Our class was divided into 6 frames, where there were about 4 or 5 students in each frame. I was in the same group with my besties and first, we didn't know how we should pose.
First, we wanted to look like mean girls that like to bully the others, but I couldn't act like that, my face was too innocent, you know? LOL
After that, we walked and walked until we found a bench and suddenly an idea popped in my head. So, finally we decided to use that pose and it was kinda cool!
The shoot lasted for about 2 hours, and after ate our dinner we went home.
I really like one photo which I think is really funny, comical, and interesting. Check my photo gallery :)

Enjoy~

Title: Call Me Maybe
Artist: Carly Rae Jepsen
I threw a wish in the well,
Don't ask me, I'll never tell
I looked to you as it fell,
And now you're in my way
I'd trade my soul for a wish,
Pennies and dimes for a kiss
I wasn't looking for this,
But now you're in my way
Your stare was holdin',
Ripped jeans, skin was showin'
Hot night, wind was blowin'
Where you think you're going, baby?
Hey, I just met you,
And this is crazy,
But here's my number,
So call me, maybe?
It's hard to look right,
At you baby,
But here's my number,
So call me, maybe?
Hey, I just met you,
And this is crazy,
But here's my number,
So call me, maybe?
And all the other boys,
Try to chase me,
But here's my number,
So call me, maybe?
You took your time with the call,
I took no time with the fall
You gave me nothing at all,
But still, you're in my way
I beg, and borrow and steal
Have foresight and it's real
I didn't know I would feel it,
But it's in my way
Your stare was holdin',
Ripped jeans, skin was showin'
Hot night, wind was blowin'
Where you think you're going, baby?
Hey, I just met you,
And this is crazy,
But here's my number,
So call me, maybe?
It's hard to look right,
At you baby,
But here's my number,
So call me, maybe?
Hey, I just met you,
And this is crazy,
But here's my number,
So call me, maybe?
And all the other boys,
Try to chase me,
But here's my number,
So call me, maybe?
Before you came into my life
I missed you so bad
I missed you so bad
I missed you so, so bad
Before you came into my life
I missed you so bad
And you should know that
I missed you so, so bad
It's hard to look right,
At you baby,
But here's my number,
So call me, maybe?
Hey, I just met you,
And this is crazy,
But here's my number,
So call me, maybe?
And all the other boys,
Try to chase me,
But here's my number,
So call me, maybe?
Before you came into my life
I missed you so bad
I missed you so bad
I missed you so, so bad
Before you came into my life
I missed you so bad
And you should know that
So call me, maybe?

The battle's closing to the end
Hi guys!
Finally back from a 4-day battle a.k.a the national exam!
If I can be honest, I'm pretty satisfied with my job because I can do that exams well, and no silly mistakes that can make me cry. I had some problems with English, because frankly, it's the hardest subject (in my opinion) but I'm pretty confident about the rest of them.
And I'm not confident for myself only, but for the rest of my fellow schoolmates. They did such a wonderful job! I just hope that this year will be our year to shine. We'll prove ourselves to our teachers that they can't underestimate us and we can also make our school proud!
But..for us, the bilingual students, the battle's not really over. Still have to do one more exam before we graduate. Yeah, the exams created specially for the bilingual's students.
Keep battling, guys!
