December :)

Hey! Sorry for long updates :(
Not that I don't have time to update my blog, but I have no internet connection for last few weeks. I only have internet connection on my mobile, but I don't really enjoy writing post through mobile. Anyway, let me recap some of last activities recently.

NOVEMBER 26 - DECEMBER 10: FINAL TEST

So, I had my final test on those days. It should have ended on December 5th, but because of "some problems", there were additional math and biology retest so we, 10th grader finished our test last. To be honest, it was the longest days of final exams that I have! I didn't know how could I get through those "hell days" but I just passed it through! Thanks God :D My sleeping schedule was really absurd, but I tried my best not to study all night because I knew it would ruin my concentration. I hoped that I pass all the test because some of them were extremely difficult!

DECEMBER 7: KO BOBBY AND CI SARAH'S WEDDING

I know this date was still in the middle of my final test, but thankfully it took place on Friday, so I didn't have to study anything for tomorrow. On that day, my older cousin, Bobby, finally married to his beautiful girlfriend and I couldn't been more happier. They were perfect for each other and there were so much love between the two of them. The wedding's concept was a "garden wedding" and it somehow reminded me of Bella and Edward's wedding (I'm talking about The Twilight Saga XD). Instead of renting the hotel's garden, they held the reception in a rented beautiful villa. There was a big swimming pool opposite the music stage (not to mention, they even recruited a violinist!) and when the reception started, the two of them appeared on the balcony (now it reminded me of Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding!). The food was absolutely delicious. Marzano Pizza, Indian kebab, sushi, beef fettuccine, and don't forget the delicious dessert! I'm sorry I can't share the photos now, but I probably upload some of them soon. Don't worry~

DECEMBER 14: CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

Our school had a christmas service and celebration on Friday. Therefore, we should wear a shirt according to the dress code which is red, green, or yellow. The Christmas service was not so fancy, reminding us that Jesus didn't born in fanciness, but in a very simple and poor situation. The God's message through the pastor was awesome, reminding us not to just rely on our logic, but also our heart and God's words. Somehow, this message really suitable for me. I often just rely on my logic, thinking something is impossible to do But I forget, nothing is impossible for God. And since then, I want to learn to rely on God, and not only my logic or my own strength :)

DECEMBER 15: REPORT CARD (!!!!) AND A VISIT TO THE ORPHANAGE

I received report card today! And I was totally nervous. I knew some of my grades were going down and I couldn't help it anymore. I've tried my best, and I just hoped that the result was also the best for me. When I walked with my mom on the school corridor, heading to my class that was located at the end of the corridor, I was holding my mom's hand so tightly because I was so freakin nervous (I know it was kinda childish, but..who cares?) My mom got into the classroom and I sat on a chair outside, waiting for my destiny (LOL!) One by one, my friends' parents came out of the classroom with different expression and then, I took a peek, my mom was sitting in front of my teacher, ready to receive the result. 'so this is it!' I whispered to myself. About 5 minutes after that, my mom came out with a big smile on her face. Oh, thanks GOD!!! I looked at my report card, I never thought it would be this good. I thought that I didn't do really well on this 1st term. Well, my math's score was still, not really satisfying, but I'll work harder in the next semester. I promise it will be better! After the report distribution was over, all of us, 10th graders, went to the different orphanages. My class, X5, together with X6 went to one orphanage located in Muara Karang. The orphanage was located by the seaside, and when the tide is high, or when it is raining, the water will be flooding and go into their house. There were a lot of children, around 30 I think. We played games together, sang a song, and had lunch together. Sometimes, seeing people laugh can also bring a smile to our face. Happiness is that simple :D
some kids there :)

Look how happy they are!

So, that were some of my activities during the last 2 weeks (I think?) I haven't got any plan for holiday so I guess, I will playing Sims, checking on some cool videos on YouTube, yeah something like that. Anyway, enjoy your holiday folks! Have a good one :D
