Retreat..."Celebrate the Diversity"

Ok, here I am...just returned from retreat at Pondok Remaja (English: Youth Hostel), Cipayung, West Java. Retreat is one of my school's programs so I have to follow it...Well, in this post I gotta tell you the first day of retreat...
In the morning, we gathered first at SMPK 2... then, we started briefing and then we went into our bus. I was in bus no.1 with my best friend...We listened to music, ate some snack, played Echa's iTouch..., chatted all day long until we arrived at Pondok Remaja. Fortunately, the street wasn't too crowded so we could arrive quickly.
I got room no 111, cool number, huh? I shared my room with 3 other girls (not bad, I thought)
First, we had some lunch, then recess time. The recess time was too long I think, just imagine, 2.5 hours without any activity! I just chatted with the other girls and took a short tour around the hostel. And then, I took a bath. The bathroom wasn't very big but fortunately, there was hot shower...
After the recess time ended, we had some snacks. And then, the opening service started. This retreat theme was "modesty". After the opening service ended, we had dinner and then we started the first session. The title was "Celebrate the Diversity". The main message was although we are really different, that's not a problem for us to keep going, that's not a reason for us to fight, but we should celebrate those diversity...
Then in "learning activity" session, we watched a movie called "Hotel Rwanda". The story took place in Africa about 10-15 years ago. The "Hutu" and "Tutsi" were fighting because they were different. The story was a little...scary and I imagined, if I live there at that moment, maybe I'll choose to end my life. Cause the situation was really really really scary. Just like a war. I'm glad it's all over. After that session end, each group should make a quote about diversity. Here is a quote that I like from the other group :
Just like 7 colors that form a rainbow, we are different, but those difference make us beautiful

Celebrate the diversity, guys!
