Retreat..."I am Special'

2nd day! I woke up at 4.30 am and then I drank my milk :). Next, we got ready for morning exercise. It was so cold outside and I was too sleepy for exercise!! After that, I took a bath just like usual and then we started the morning reflection. And then, we went to the dining room to have breakfast. As usual, Nath and the other girls booked "our table" first before the others took that! I didn't really like the meal, but I have to eat that. Then, the first session started. The theme was same, "Together in Diversity" . At the end of this session, we watched a short clip. It was about the girl and the boy who was bullied by their classmates. Their classmates always call them "loser", "wimp", and many more. You know, words hurt. So, even that we are different, but we are still God's creation. Even that our friends are not really beautiful, short, ugly, and many more, but we shouldn't tease them, everybody is special....
And then, we continued with "learning activities". each of us get a piece of paper and that  paper was pasted on our back. Then, we walked around and looked for  someone who will write something on paper. The person must write our paper with the name of body's member (example: eyes, mouth, brain, etc) according to our personality. Then, those session ended and we had snacks. After that, we planned our talent show. My group should perform a poem. Then, Michelle, I, and Cindy composed the poem while the boys were playing in the pool. (guys, you are all really lucky to be in the same group with me and Michelle!) Then, I took a bath but of course, I was really nervous. We haven't practice just for a minute! Then, the talent show started! We got turn no.7, we were lucky, yeah. Then, we got our turn. Yeah, it was very bad, very bad!! Then, my favorite session, king and queen! From my class, 8b, there was 1 couple, our class leader and vice leader. Of course 1 of my friends wouldn't be happy 'bout this... Then, we had dinner and the last session today, dedication service. It wasn't as sad as the one when I was still in grade 6. And then, we went to our room to sleep. But of course, we didn't sleep right away. We chatted first. Today was a great day

Retreat..."Celebrate the Diversity"

Ok, here I am...just returned from retreat at Pondok Remaja (English: Youth Hostel), Cipayung, West Java. Retreat is one of my school's programs so I have to follow it...Well, in this post I gotta tell you the first day of retreat...
In the morning, we gathered first at SMPK 2... then, we started briefing and then we went into our bus. I was in bus no.1 with my best friend...We listened to music, ate some snack, played Echa's iTouch..., chatted all day long until we arrived at Pondok Remaja. Fortunately, the street wasn't too crowded so we could arrive quickly.
I got room no 111, cool number, huh? I shared my room with 3 other girls (not bad, I thought)
First, we had some lunch, then recess time. The recess time was too long I think, just imagine, 2.5 hours without any activity! I just chatted with the other girls and took a short tour around the hostel. And then, I took a bath. The bathroom wasn't very big but fortunately, there was hot shower...
After the recess time ended, we had some snacks. And then, the opening service started. This retreat theme was "modesty". After the opening service ended, we had dinner and then we started the first session. The title was "Celebrate the Diversity". The main message was although we are really different, that's not a problem for us to keep going, that's not a reason for us to fight, but we should celebrate those diversity...
Then in "learning activity" session, we watched a movie called "Hotel Rwanda". The story took place in Africa about 10-15 years ago. The "Hutu" and "Tutsi" were fighting because they were different. The story was a little...scary and I imagined, if I live there at that moment, maybe I'll choose to end my life. Cause the situation was really really really scary. Just like a war. I'm glad it's all over. After that session end, each group should make a quote about diversity. Here is a quote that I like from the other group :
Just like 7 colors that form a rainbow, we are different, but those difference make us beautiful

Celebrate the diversity, guys!

Wake me up when October ends...

Okay, this week is kinda busy, really busy!!

Monday: Volley test! Ok, I've told you before that I'm really bad at sport, right? But, luckily I didn't fail in this test. We should do passing at least 20 times in 1 minute. For me, it's hard! But, fortunately, I can did 28 times and I passed!! Woohoo! I was so happy because I seldom passed on P.E test. My best friend, Regina, did it 60 times, she rocks!! And then, in music class, we watched some movie about music. Most of them were guitar. That made me want to learn guitar. Caprice no 24 from Paganini is amazing! But it's very hard of course, even my father can't play it!
Tuesday: Boring day... I don't know, I always hate Tuesday...After school clubs just made me bored
Wednesday: Tried to build a tower from matches. I only could build it until 9 cm tall! And then, the teacher asked the students to make it taller. So, I joined with my "table-mate" to make it taller. Ours were 16 cm tall! But, another students built the tower up to 22 cm tall! Physics test! Super duper hard test! I wish I can get a good mark :) After school, I met a guy from 8E class called "A". And you know what?! He was very arrogant! He said the physics test was easy. Yeah, he's good at physics, but the way he talk and the way he brag annoyed me! Disgusting!
Thursday: Nothing special about this day, I think
Friday: Retreat group was announced! I was in the same group with Michelle, my best friend! But, I would be in the same group with the "arrogant guy" or the "Mr Know It All"... Oh...my group sucks! Retreat is next Wednesday and I hope it will be a great fun!
Saturday: Finished our English Presentation about "speculation". And it took a lot of time .And then, some of my friends gathered at my house and then we played a game called "paparazzi" A crazy game, yeah, we invented it. Saturday's target was Kath. And we took a lot of photos of her! And I have the funny one! Lol!
Sunday: Went to the church, finished my presentation, studied Mandarin for tomorrow's test, tried to memorize "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" score, wrote this crazy post...

Once upon an October...

It's Saturday! And you know what, report distribution! I got mmm... quite good marks, but I got a really bad mark for Physical Education (sport) I only got 68! Oh man...
After that, my friends, Albert, Emen, Kath, and Regina gathered at my house to finish our drama script...
It was hilarious! We shared and shared about everything that happen to our life... Albert and Emen revealed their deepest secret about the girl that they like.. (so sweet.. I hope somebody will love me, "he" will love me the way they love their girl) even the girls didn't know and even didn't like 'em back, but they won't give up! (Keep fighting, guys! )
****Back to the drama****
Ok, it was really annoying but it was freaking funny! Especially the "bullying" part, when the "bullies" bully the stupid teacher!! LOL! But I'm not ready to perform it... Oh man...
Ok, that's all... I can't share everything here, there are a lot of my friend's secret... bye!

Fun day with science ~

Okay, on Friday Oct 15th 2010, Michelle, I, and some other friends from grade 8 and 9 joined the "SMUKIEZ National Competition" Here is the story...
8 am : Went to SMAK 1 from P2
9 am : Registration, breakfast at school's cafetaria...
9.30 am: Opening ceremony..
10.00 am: Game start! My team number was 6! And the other science team from P2 got number 30... My team consisted of me, Michelle, and J.P. The questions were really hard! Maybe it's because we are still in grade 8 and there were a lot of materials from grade 9... I did the chemical one, michelle did the biology and J.P did physics. We didn't answer about...10 questions in physics, because we didn't know how to solve it! I've said before, it was grade 9 material!
11.30 am: Finished! We waited for the announcement. All of the participants got the dolphin puppet!
13.30 pm: The announcement. We failed to go to semifinal :( but the other team passed and had to compete again (Later they became the first winner, woohoo, I'm so proud of them! Go P2! You are the best!)

Conclusion : Of course we didn't win this year, but next year, when I already in grade 9, I'll prove that I can! I'll study harder, practice harder, (and of course pray harder XD) When they already graduate from P2, don't worry, I won't give up, I'll try harder, and I won't let P2 down! GO P2!

No, he is not the one..

About a boy... that I like several times ago... now I realized that I just kinda "like" and "admire" him, not "love" him... And I have to say this, even it's kinda hard, but I need to be true to my own feeling, that I really love the previous one. Well, we're separated miles apart, but I still miss him, I still want to meet him, just once again is enough. I don't know whether he miss me or not, he loves me or not, I don't care.. it's alright, it's okay...As long as he happy, I'm happy too.. :)
The word "like" is not the same as the word "love"

Thanks God, it's over!

Midterms was finished a couple of days ago and now it's the teacher's turn to inform us the result of our midterms. Mine? It's not really good... Well, I passed on them all, but it's not as good as last year. For biology, my fav subjects, I got a good mark. That's not a really big problem cause actually I'm really bad at social science (I only got 82, oh man, that's terrible!) and for Bahasa Indonesia, I really got a bad mark! Even I speak Indonesian 24/7, but I can say that's the hardest subject for me...
Michelle and I will participate in smuki competition next week, so wish us luck! Actually, I bet Michelle will get 90 for social science. If she gets 90, she should study chemistry for the upcoming competition, and I'll study biology, but my bet is wrong!! So I should study chemistry, oh my!
That's for this week, I'm glad that the midterms were running well and I didn't failed... Hope next time I'll get better marks...
AdiĆ³s!

Believe, your song will hold the key <3

Midterms!! You're driving me crazy!

Midterms are finished everybody!!! But... the scanner in my school ruined that happy moment! You know what, on Monday, Mam Intan, our IT teacher, said that no one passed that test and that means everyone failed! I only got 68 and the passing grade is 72.... That's impossible! There are a lot of clever guys in my class and I can't believe it that they only got 60 or 70... After she checked it again, actually it is the machine's fault or the computer's fault (our school checks the midterm by computer, not manually) and I got... 90, that's better!
And again.. this kind of "accident" happened again on Friday... my Bahasa Indonesia teacher said almost 80 % of my class failed on midterm, I only got... again 68, but I'm sure, I'm really sure that it was the machine's fault. It should be! Or my midterms will be the worst!!
