2 hours together with the orphan...

So, yesterday, my friends and I visited the orphanage to play, learn, and sing together with the orphan at "Panti Asuhan Dorkas" (English; Dorkas Orphanage). We arrived at the orphanage at 9.45. Actually, it was the assignment from our school, so if there was no assignment like this, I wouldn't go here...
First, we introduced ourselves. Then, Echa became the guitarist, Katherine became the MC of this activity, and I also helped Katherine... Egi and Nath became the photographer.
The first activity was sang together. And then, we learned math together. Those children wanted to learn about algebra! Wow! Then, it was English class. We didn't know what to teach. So Kath asked me to tell a story in English. I wasn't very sure that the children could understand me or not, and then I haven't practiced yet! So I just combined English with Indonesian, and I was very glad that they could understand me!
The last activity was origami class. Kath asked them to write their wishes and dreams, and then we should folded those paper to make some origami. It was very hard, even I couldn't do that! But, luckily those children were really happy.
Before we returned, we sang 2 songs, and then we shared some souvenirs and snacks. Seeing those children happy made me happy too! And also, we didn't forget to take some photos together.
Here are some photos:

November...

November is such a complicated month...tons of exam, assignment, project, and many more...
You know, I still have very much "undone" assignment...
Well let's say, we haven't practiced for the next drama in my Bahasa Indonesia class, then I haven't made my computer projects, about HTML website and flash animation..
We haven't made mind mapping for civilization project and lung model for the biology class.
I haven't done a lot of things that I should have done before
Anyway...I *love you very much* November! Thanks to you I can't enjoy my weekends anymore...

Retreat...Last Day!!

Finally..it's the last day!! Same as before, I woke up in the morning, 4.30 I guess. Then, we had the "unimportant" morning exercise and morning reflection. After that, I took a bath and we had breakfast. Today, there weren't any sessions, but there were some outdoor activities, or we can say, group activities. Each group were given a map about the location, which post should we go first, and second, etc...
For my group, the first post was the Brown post. I didn't really understand the game there. So we were given a bundle of ropes that was really messy. And we should untie it so it would form 1 circle formed of that ropes. Well, we didn't make it in time. Then, we go to the next post. It's so hard to explain it.. well, I'll use a picture...
This was the game area. There were 4 rows and 8 columns. The game was: we should cross the area from the1st square till the 8th square. Unfortunately, we only had 3 steps or 3 chances to step on those squares. If we go from no.1, then no.2, then no.3, we should stop cause we already used all of our chances. There were 15 on us on my group and you know what was our idea?
The boys placed themselves on those squares and they carried the girl from 1 place to another so the girls didn't need to step on the ground, in other words, we saved our chances, and only used maybe 1 or 2 chances to step. But it was ridiculous! Dennis carried me not on his back, but he carried me like a prince carried a princess, you know? Like this! --->
Do you think it's romantic? ABSOLUTELY NO!!! I was so scared and I didn't trust him very much because before he carried me, he carried Ayumi and he dropped her on the ground! If he dropped me too...I'll teach him some lesson!!!!
Then, we went to other posts and played...and it was so damn funny! I couldn't explain them one by one cause there were too many!!
After that, it began to rain so we rushed to the hostel. And then, I took a bath and had lunch. Next, the announcement! The best team in this retreat is...group 7! a.k.a Kath's group and you know the second place?! My super duper extra messy group!! I couldn't believe it! And next, the king and queen, they were from... class 8B! My class won! WooHoo!!!
Before we returned to Jakarta, we took some photos there . I slept during the way and time flew really fast. So..it was my fun retreat and I'm gonna memorize it because it was so damn amazing!!
Be humble, even that we are different, actually we're the same...
